The capitol city of Thelmir was nearly bursting at its seams. People of all kinds swarmed the broad, well-paved roads like an ant hill under the bright morning sun, shoving each other about with foul looks upon their often dirty faces. Eileeve had been away from the city for only a week but it had changed a great deal in her absence. Banners hung from the balconies, the sparse trees were decorated with colourful ribbons and string with hundreds of tiny lanterns crossed the streets.
